Uber passenger pays driver’s college tuition allowing her to graduate

There was only one way to pay the passenger back

Three years ago, Latonya Young was driving Uber to make ends meet when she met a passenger that would change her life.

Kevin Esch learned of her struggles as a single mother during the 20-minute ride and ended up footing her tuition allowing her to complete school.

In the Spring of 2021, she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Georgia State University.

They shared their incredible story on the Tamron Hall Show.

This is the kind of story we love at Just One More.

We love hearing about people who have a constructive plan to overcome an obstacle and just need some help to make that happen.
